GEX Heatmap — Gamma Exposure Over the Last 30 Days
Where dealer gamma sat, strike by strike, over the last 30 days — with the price path and gamma flip on top. Free, updated once a day; the most recent 24 hours are live in the app.
How to read a GEX heatmap
Each column is a point in time; each row is a strike. Color shows net gamma exposure at that strike: green where dealers are long gamma and hedge against the move (buy dips, sell rallies), red where they are short gamma and hedge with it.
The line through the chart is the price. Bands that stay bright for days are strikes with persistent open interest — they tend to act as magnets or barriers. Bands that fade after an expiry show gamma rolling off.
The gamma flip marks where the net exposure changes sign. Price above the flip usually means calmer, mean-reverting trade; below it, moves tend to extend. See the GEX heatmap glossary entry and our heatmap guide.
