What's New — April 2026

5 releases in April 2026.

GEX Academy#

Added

  • GEX Academy: New educational hub at /academy — structured lessons that teach you to read GEX as a perp trader. Track 1 (Perp Trader) launches with 11 published lessons covering the Flip Point, positive/negative walls, |GEX| markers (A1/A2/MV), confluence setups, the heatmap, TA overlay, the Friday reset cycle, when GEX levels stop mattering, and a 2-minute pre-trade scan that ties it all together. More tracks (Options-Curious, Active Options, Pro) are coming.

Changed

  • Learn page renamed to Glossary: The /learn page is now /glossary to reflect what it is — a reference of every chart, marker, and metric. Old /learn URLs redirect automatically. Glossary is the lookup tool; Academy is for learning concepts end-to-end.

Improved

  • Glossary search & TOC: Search bar and table of contents now stick to the top as you scroll, so you can jump or filter from any depth in the page. The search input is mirrored across desktop and mobile views.

Local Timezone Display#

Added

  • Local Timezone Toggle: New option in Settings (⚙) → Time to display intraday chart timestamps in your browser's local timezone. UTC remains the default. When enabled, the time suffix becomes (UTC±N) (fractional offsets like UTC+5:30 supported).
  • Applies to: chart subtitles (GEX by Strike, Term, Gamma Profile, OHLC), heatmap hover tooltip + timestamp overlay, intraday (1H) OHLC candles + crosshair, Time Machine slider tooltip.
  • Daily OHLC candles, expiration dates, the delayed-data banner, and pip labels on the Time Machine slider always stay UTC — matches aggregation units and avoids confusion with cross-reference tools, alerts, and the Deribit expiry calendar.
  • Preference persists across reloads; charts re-render in place on toggle — no page refresh needed.
  • DST-aware: hourly charts that span a daylight-saving transition shift each bar by its own offset.

25Δ Risk Reversal Metric#

Added

  • 25Δ RR (Risk Reversal): New metric in the Term OI view. Computes IV skew per expiration per exchange as IV(25Δ Call) − IV(25Δ Put) in vol points — the crypto-desk standard for implied-volatility skew. Negative = puts richer (fear); positive = calls richer (speculation). Rendered as a line+marker chart with one trace per exchange; legend toggles let you solo venues. See the Learn page for how to read it alongside GEX.

Pro Tier & Public API#

Added

  • Pro Tier (€35/mo): New subscription above Premium. Includes everything in Premium plus programmatic access via the REST API.
  • Public REST API (v1): Endpoints for GEX by Strike and Term Structure across all supported assets and exchanges. Daily limits: 50 requests on trial, 500 on Pro. See the For Developers section on the landing page.
  • API Key Management: Generate and revoke API keys from the Account page. Trial users get 1 key; Pro users up to 5.
  • Upgrade to Pro: Premium subscribers can upgrade with a one-click prorated preview.

Improved

  • Account Page Redesign: Tier-aware layout — Premium users no longer see a misleading "Full access" caption next to an Upgrade-to-Pro card. Trial/Pro users see today's API usage and quota.

Learn Page Rework & Subscription-Required Access#

Added

  • Learn Page Search: Filter-as-you-type search on the /learn page — type a keyword and entries narrow instantly. Category headers hide when all their entries are filtered out.
  • Learn Page Screenshots: Every chart, marker, and metric entry now includes a screenshot so you can see exactly what you're reading about. Complex entries (GEX by Strike, Flip Point, Gamma Profile) include an Annotated variant with labeled callouts — toggle between Annotated and Plain with a single click.

Changed

  • Subscription Required for App Access: The /app and /dashboard pages now require an active trial or Premium subscription. Anonymous visitors and permanent free-tier users are redirected to the subscribe page. This change was necessary to protect platform stability — unrestricted free and anonymous access was driving significant load that degraded reliability for paying subscribers. New accounts still get a 14-day full-access trial, no credit card required.
