What's New — October 2026

4 releases in October 2026.

Binance Joins the Exchange Line-up#

Added

  • Binance options are now on GammaFlip: Binance is the fifth crypto exchange next to Deribit, Bybit, OKX and Derive, for BTC, ETH, SOL and XRP. Pick Binance to see its book on its own, tick it in any mix (for example Deribit + Binance), or stay on All, which now includes it. On 13 October Binance held about 21,000 BTC of options open interest (~$1.75B), slightly more than Bybit, and about 9% of the ETH open interest we track. Binance does not list HYPE options, so HYPE is unchanged. Binance history builds from launch day, and charts mark "Binance included from …". Included in the Crypto plan

  • Binance in the API and in Claude / ChatGPT: binance works on every /api/v1 endpoint, alone or in a mix (deribit+binance), and through the MCP connector. all and combined now mean five exchanges. If your requests spell out the old four (deribit+bybit+okx+derive), that is now a mix without Binance; use all instead.

Improved

  • Binance gamma is computed, not copied: Binance's own gamma feed is unreliable on thinly quoted strikes, so we compute gamma and delta from Binance's mark IV and its forward price for each expiration. Calls and puts at one strike now always agree.
  • Flow handles a new exchange on long windows: when an exchange joins inside the window you are looking at (1D, 2D, 1W), Flow leaves it out of All for that window and says so, instead of showing its whole book as new positions.

GammaFlip in Claude and ChatGPT#

Added

  • Ask Claude or ChatGPT about gamma exposure: GammaFlip now has a remote MCP server. Add https://mcp.gammaflip.io/mcp as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT, sign in with your GammaFlip account, and the assistant can read our data for you: current levels (flip, regime, walls) with a comparison to 1, 7 or 30 days back, GEX by strike, term structure, levels over time and the full picture at a past moment. It covers BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP and HYPE across Deribit, Bybit, OKX and Derive, plus 17 US stocks, ETFs and indices, with history from 1 May 2026. No API key is needed. Access follows your plan: any plan or trial that includes API access works, for the markets in that plan, and requests share the API's daily limit (50 on trial, 500 on paid plans). The assistant can only read data: no charts, alerts or file downloads yet. Setup, step by step: Connect GammaFlip to Claude and ChatGPT.

GEX History in the API#

Added

  • GEX history in the API: The public API now serves the past, not just the present. /api/v1/history/levels returns the flip, regime, P1/P2, N1/N2, A1/A2, S/V and net/absolute GEX as a time series: every 15 minutes, hourly, or one row per session close. /history/snapshot returns the full per-strike picture at any moment, and /history/files downloads daily CSV files per symbol: levels, strikes (all expirations combined) and strikes by expiration. History starts on 1 May 2026 for BTC, ETH, SOL and XRP on Deribit, Bybit, OKX and All, on 3 September for HYPE and on 28 September for Derive. It also covers 17 US stocks, ETFs and indices, and new days are added after each session. /history/coverage shows exactly what exists for every symbol. Two limits: option volume isn't stored, and per-strike open interest for US names starts on 14 August (GEX and levels cover the whole period). File downloads have their own daily allowance: 20 on trial, 200 on paid plans. Docs: History API.
A /api/v1/levels response for QQQ with ?compare=1d,7d: spot, flip, regime and the P1/N1 walls now, plus the same levels one and seven sessions ago and the change
  • US stocks & indices in the API: SPX, SPY, QQQ, IWM, NVDA and the other US tickers now work on every public API endpoint, on the TradFi and Complete plans. The TradFi plan now includes API access (500 requests/day).
  • Every key level in one call: /api/v1/levels returns spot, flip, regime and all the levels in one compact response. Add ?compare=1d,7d,30d to get the same levels 1, 7 and 30 sessions ago with the change, so you can see whether dealers repositioned. /api/v1/me shows your plan, markets and remaining quota.

Improved

  • Hourly US charts say what's delayed: During market hours, the 1H chart for US names now notes that its candles run 15 minutes behind while GEX, levels and the Price line are live.
  • API responses explain themselves: Every response carries its units and a link to the docs. view=levels and range_pct trim the payload, and errors say how to fix the request. For example, asking for a symbol we don't cover returns unsupported_coin with the lists of coins and US tickers that are available.
  • API keys are for the public API: Keys now work on /api/v1 endpoints only, as documented, and the app's internal endpoints no longer accept them.

Hourly Candles for US Stocks & Indices#

Added

  • Hourly (1H) charts for US stocks, ETFs and indices: The Hour view now works for every TradFi ticker — SPX, RUT, DJX, SPY, QQQ, IWM, DIA, IBIT, GLD, SLV and the single names — with the same GEX levels, walls and expected-move cone you get on crypto. Bars follow the US session (09:30–16:00 ET, seven per day, the last one half an hour). During market hours they run about 15 minutes behind (our market-data feed for US names is delayed); the yellow Price line stays live. Time Machine replays hourly candles as far back as the TradFi history goes.
SPX hourly candles (Index · 1H) with GEX levels, the gamma flip, walls and the expected-move cone; the Hour view is selected

Improved

  • Today's daily candle for US names is now real market data: Until the official close is published (~17:15 ET), today's candle on the Day chart used to be estimated from sampled prices. It's now built from the session's actual hourly bars — the real 09:30 open and the true high and low so far — and is replaced by the official candle once it publishes.
  • One price line for every market: Crypto charts now use the same yellow dashed Price line as US stocks and the by-strike chart, instead of a separate unlabelled line coloured by the last candle.
  • Time Machine shows the hour as it was: On the 1H replay, the current hour is drawn only from what was known at that moment (its open and the price so far), so a replayed candle never reveals where the hour ended. The Price line now sits on the last candle. When a date has no hourly data, the chart says so instead of staying blank.

Fixed

  • Switching between crypto and US markets no longer leaves the chart in empty space: On the Day or Hour chart, switching e.g. from BTC to QQQ kept the previous zoom by bar count, so the candles could end up squeezed to one side. The zoom now stays anchored to the latest candle.
  • Crypto Time Machine on 1H was empty for dates older than about six weeks: Hourly candles for older replay dates are now loaded on demand, back to the start of the crypto history (February 2026).
